Impact Coordinator for the
City of Sparks, NV
As the Project Impact Coordinator for the City of Sparks, NV, Ms. Beaugez coordinated
more than 25 successful disaster preparedness projects that were made possible
by the disaster preparedness and mitigation grant funded by the Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA).
The
Federal Emergency Management
Agency (FEMA) Project Impact
Grant was for $500,000. The
City of Sparks was selected
as a Project Impact Star
Community in Washington D.C.
and Ms. Beaugez was also
honored for all her contributions
by the City of
Sparks.

Schools Committee
Dee. Beaugez was responsible for the coordination of the City of Sparks (NV)
participation
in the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Pre-Incident Planning Pilot
Test Project. She took the Safe Schools project to the next step and began coordinating
the
development of first versions of HTML school campus site assessments (preplans)
for
23
high
schools
and
middle
schools. |

HTML Hazardous Materials Preplans
Beaugez also collected photos, data and designed Hazardous Materials HTML Preplans
for several chemical plants, three Tank Farms and a City-County Railroad Yard. |

For the City of Shoreline, WA
Ms. Beaugez assisted in the
exercising, coordination and updating
of the city's emergency preparedness
efforts. She served as a liaison for
the city with other agencies and organizations
in the area of emergency management.
She coordinated supporting programs
and training efforts for city staff
and assisted in the development of
proposals to implement and maintain
an effective emergency management program.
She assisted in conducting exercises
to determine the readiness and effectiveness
of city resources during a coordinated
emergency response.
FEMA Courses she has completed Include, but are not limited to:
Exercise Design
Training; Emergency Operations Center (G388); Principles of Emergency Management
(G230) and FEMA online training focusing on Emergency Management, Incident Command
System (ISC) and National Incident Managment System (NIMS). |
