Mutual
Aid Region
III.
The NorCalBT project was co-coordinated by Glenn County Public
Health Agency (Nip Boydes and Grinnell Norton) and Sierra
County Health & Human Services Agency (Vickee Greer).
The NorCalBT public web site and VIPlanning Online secure
web site are vehicles for public health professionals to
provide preparedness and response updates to both the 750,000
residents within Region III and professionals in the event
of a bioterrorism event, infectious disease or other public
health threat or emergency.
The Region III was launched in 2004
and VIPlanning® Online Services is
still being used by the 13 public health agencies in Region
III. A similar project developed around VIPlanning® Online Services has
been in development by the public health agencies in Kings
County and Tulare County for Region V since 2005.
